Cleaning unit application
In order to easily clean the magnet unit and to ensure operator safety, Goudsmit has developed the magnet rotor cleaning unit. It is available as an accessory with the rotating Cleanflow magnet. With this cleaning unit, the magnetic bars are easily removed from the extractor and securely placed on the tray. This keeps the magnet clean, preventing it from falling on the ground or being attracted by a steel object. The magnet is then easily accessible from all sides and therefore easy to clean. Even if the magnet unit is saturated with attracted metal particles, and the magnetic bars are therefore very difficult to remove from the extractor, this is not a problem with the cleaning unit. The tray collects the attracted iron parts.

A sieve filters irregularities such as paper, plastic particles and stones from the product flow. This is normally a separate unit mounted upstream of the magnetic filter in the production process. This sieve is designed to be placed directly in the double-walled magnetic filter, which reduces operations, costs, time and heat loss. The magnetic bars and sieve can be cleaned in a single operation.
