Application

What are the applications for ferrous film?

Ferrous film forms an ideal combination with magnets and magnetic sheet.
It is flexible and allows for easy trimming, cutting, plotting, or punching.
The metal foil has no sharp edges or corners and is safe to handle. It is applicable on both flat and curved surfaces. Ferrous film is water resistant but not waterproof. For indoor use.
As an optional extra, a special topcoat will make the ferrous film suitable for printing.
 
Applications: graphic prints and in-store communications, wall coverings, stand construction, magnetic advertising, and technical applications.

Composition

What is ferrous film made of?

Ferrous film is made of unmagnetized iron powder, composite rubber and other materials.
Our film is free of hazardous chemicals or heavy metals.
Rolling creates a thin flexible film. Ferrous film is standard dark brown in colour. If desired, a coloured top layer of vinyl, a sticker or another top layer is possible.

Storage and processing

How to store ferrous film

Store ferrous film in closed packaging, horizontally at temperatures between 10 and 30 °C. Humidity between 30% and 60%. Keep ferrous film out of direct sunlight.
Shelf life is 12 months.
Process metal foil at a temperature between 15 and 30 °C and a humidity of 30% to 60%. Apply metal foil only at a maximum daytime temperature changes of 40 °C.
Process material in opened packaging within 1 month.
