A magnetic timing belt transports sheets quickly and with extreme precision to and from tooling machines. This keeps the workpiece position exactly the same between two tooling steps. In this way, a robot places the sheet accurately in the next machine.With permanent or electromagnetic timing belts, you can also transport sheets in a suspended manner.

Application
Transport sheets quickly and precisely
With timing belts, you can move sheets safely and quickly to and from tooling machines. The high speed - up to 3 m/s - and acceleration - up to 6 m/s² - enables high levels of productivity. Transporting sheets in a suspended manner is also possible. The toothed belt determines the exact position.
Timing belt magnet conveyors are available in almost all lengths from 0.5 to 6 m. The products shown - as an example - are 1.5 and 2 m long.
They can be arranged parallel to each other. You can then connect the belts together via sprocket linkage.

Permanent magnets or electromagnets
Timing belts are available with permanent magnets or electromagnets.
If only transport is taking place, we use permanent magnets.
When a robot has to remove the steel sheets from the belt, we recommend electromagnets. These can be switched off once the robot arm has taken over the sheet.
