Construction of pot eyelet magnets

These pot magnets have a plastic shell with an eyelet. The shell provides protection for the magnet. You can easily hang advertising messages, products or other items from the eyelet. The raw material of these magnets, ferrite, is affordably priced compared with other types of magnet. These eyelet magnets are good value for money.
Ferrite pot magnets do not corrode and are suitable for outdoor use.

Operating temperature

When does loss of magnetic strength occur?

Eyelet magnets have an operating temperature of up to 200 °C. When heated to this temperature, the magnet loses 30 to 40% of its magnetic strength. This is not permanent; the force is restored when the magnet returns to the normal ambient temperature.
External magnetic fields may also cause loss of magnetic force. An air gap or non-magnetic materials located between the magnet and workpiece reduce the tensile force.

Magnetic force and shear force

The magnetic force is greater than shear force. These eyelet magnets are useful for on steel slats in a suspended ceiling or other steel surfaces. They are less powerful with vertical use, for example on a steel cabinet door, partition wall or whiteboard. Here, we recommend magnets with a rubber coating or shell.
These eyelet magnets are ideal for presenting promotional materials in department stores, shops or showrooms. They are reusable on any steel or iron surface.
