Having the right tool for the job makes the job easier and gives better results. The right tool for covering deep-water haunts of swordfish, tuna, and other species is a 2 to 3 kW, low and high-frequency transducer. The Chirp-ready CM599LH delivers the deep-water performance of the low frequency down to 3,000 m (10,000') plus the incredible resolution that the high-frequency band delivers.
The CM599LH is packed with a twenty-five-element, low-frequency array that operates at anywhere between 28 and 60 kHz.
The single, high-frequency ceramic operates at any frequency between 130 and 210 kHz and has a narrow (8° to 4°) beamwidth.
