LLDPE/LDPE pipes are suitable for potable water uses (cold water) with a maximum chlorine content of 4 parts per million (ppm).
Warm water above 20 °C and / or pressurising above the given maximum reduces the lifetime of this material. Also, placement in direct sunlight should be avoided.
